Music sets the mood and the memories for your wedding day. For more than 10 years Music 1 DC has been playing the perfect music for brides and grooms in the Washington, D.C. area.
Our Professional DJ Staff
Our DJs are professional musical artists experienced in creating exactly the atmosphere you want for your wedding and reception. Whether it's a soft, intimate affair or an over-the-top all-night party, Music 1 DC will play the right mix of music.

Setting the Stage: The Party-Planning Process
Music 1 DC offers the highest-quality DJ services. When you select Music 1 DC DJ services we begin by sitting down with you in person to learn what you want for your special day. There you will have the opportunity to meet your DJ in person. We'll discuss your budget, space requirements, guest information and personal taste. Next we take that information to create a customized event schedule that lists exactly the music you want played from the beginning of your ceremony right through to your last dance at the reception. We will not play any music that you do not want! Our DJs can cover every type of music, from the 1920's to disco classics to top 40 to international. Our music archive is endless. Always Available
We want you to be completely comfortable with your DJ, so you will have a chance to see your DJ perform live at a Music 1 DC event prior to your wedding. Your DJ will be available to answer your questions 7 days a week and you can meet your DJ as many times as you would like to in-person. DJ SERVICES RATES
Music1 DC will tailor our services for the best possible performance at your wedding. After carefully accessing your needs we will prepare a package that works within your budget and meets all of your expectations. We have prepared a Basic Package Plan as indicated below so that you can get an idea of our rates. Each package has an additional $150.00 set up, breakdown and delivery charge.
Basic Package starts from $ 1,500.00 Basic Package will include (4) four hours of DJ services, professional sound system, complimentary CD with your selected special dance songs, face-to-face consultation meeting and a wrap up meeting prior to your event. We will visit your event site and meet with your event manager and inform him/her on music schedule for your event, so he/she can make the necessary preparations. We will be at your event site (2) two hours prior to your event. You will meet your DJ at our consultation meeting and your DJ and Music 1 DC team will always be available for additional meetings or for your questions seven days a week.
